Congratulations to Saucony ambassador Stuart Amory for completing #TheRunForGratitude!
After 17 gruelling days of running over 50km a day, Stuart has finished the 550 mile journey from near his home in South West London to Oyne in Aberdeenshire.
An amazing achievement, Stuart took on this challenge in support of the charity Mind to raise awareness for mental health. Having struggled himself in the past and seeing many of his clients and friends battling mental health issues, Stuart wanted to show his gratitude for all he has in life "my health, my friends, my work".
Stuart's support of Mind is helping spread awareness for mental health and he hopes to encourage more men to have the conversation. As suicide is the single biggest killer of men under 45 mental health awareness for men is crucial, as 41% of those contemplating suicide said they felt they couldn't talk about their feelings.
An inspiration to us all, the personal trainer
is not only encouraging people to talk about mental health but, the determination and fight he has shown through these last 17 days will inspire people to take on their own physical challenges for charity or for their physical and mental wellbeing.
Well done Stuart!
