The 2014 Find Your Strong Project is a series of 26 photo challenges designed to connect and inspire runners around the world. Every other Friday, we’ll announce a new photo challenge here. For a chance to be featured on our Instagram page or win a prize, follow Saucony Instagram and post your photos using the designated hashtag for each challenge.

Challenge 2:

Selfie noun, informal (also selfy; plural selfies) a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website.

You’ve been putting in some miles in the most amazing places and conditions. We want to see your mugs while on these adventures. This weekend, share a selfie before, during, or after your run!

Here are a few ideas for inspiration:

  • Don’t be shy, show us how you look at your sweatiest.
  • The background is very important. Find an interesting location or trail or track that will enhance your selfie.
  •  You don’t have to be holding your phone to capture the photo. Ask a friend to snap a photo of you, or set your phone on something and use the volume + button on your headphone cord to trigger the camera (iPhone users).

Project Guidelines: Be sure to add the #FYSselfie hashtag to the comments under your photo and upload by Sunday, January 19th at midnight . Photos must be your own. For a chance to be featured on our Instagram page or win a prize, participants must use #FYSselfie and mention @saucony. Photos will be judged on originality, creativity and the story behind them!
