The time has come to reveal the Top 150 Places to Run in Canada, our love letter to the greatest country on earth, as we celebrate this huge milestone in our shared history.
Back in the spring we asked you, the intrepid Canadian runner, to bring along your cameras, your phones and your geo-tags on your bi-pedal adventures and snap up that special trail. We sorted thousands of pictures and learned a thing or two about what puts that extra spring in the stride of Canadian runners.
For some of you, it was the serenity that only sweating it out completely immersed in immaculate nature can bring. For others, you surprised yourself by exploring new parts of your city, then turned around and showed them off to the world. Some of you climbed, climbed, climbed to the highest point you could find, just so you could take in as much of Canada as would fit into your 12 megapixel cameras.
So without further ado, sit back and scroll through some of the most breathtaking, bountiful and just downright beautiful paths, roads, mountains, beaches, streams, waterfalls, bridges, and frozen lakes to ever grace the bottom of our carbon rubber outsoles.
And, from the bottom of our carbon-based lifeform souls, we’re shouting a great big THANK YOU. Thank you for joining us on this adventure around the country and helping us to weave together such a colourful tapestry of what it means to be a runner in Canada. We hope it inspires you as much as it inspires us. Happy Canada 150.
